But when Carmen Anthony Vacalebre met Jake Voskuhl at a political cocktail reception a couple of years ago at The Bushnell, he took a liking to the UConn center. Shortly after Vacalebre opened the upscale Carmen Anthony's Fishhouse in Avon last June, he attached Voskuhl's name to one of the liquor lockers in the vestibule. And this fall, after Voskuhl's vehicle was shipped home to Texas, Vacalebre didn't think twice about offering him the use of his leased white 1999 Lexus RX 300. This came only one year after Voskuhl played in 16 games and barely broke a sweat with 8.9 minutes per contest after the Bulls selected him with 33rd pick in the second round of the 2000 NBA Draft.
