Deion Sanders Book
It was a very good book, and it was in great condition when I received it.

Poorly written
This book might have had a great message, but I will never know.It was so poorly written that I couldn't finish it.

A SMALL glimpse into the soul of Deion Sanders (aka Prime Time)
I've been meaning to read this book for a long time.I really wanted to hear the story of Deion's conversion from Prime Time, to being a Christian. I was particularly intrigued by his suicide attempt, wondering what drove him to that point, and how it impacted his life afterward.

I thought the book was decent, but was a bit disappointed.It left me wanting more.I found his writing style to be rambling, and repititious.While his focus was to tell the story of his conversion, which I appreciated, it wasn't as in depth as I would have liked. A little too "preachy" in many places.I still don't feel like I really know who Deion Sanders really is.Based on his own description, I didn't see a lot of difference between the new Deion and the Old Deion, although that is the power of his testimony.In both instances, he described himself as a supremely talented and confident talented individual who is essentially good at the core, but who is usually misunderstood.

In the book, Deion says that he created the "Prime Time" image while he was in college as a way of marketing himself, and that that isn't really who he is.The problem is that is exactly who we saw throughout the book.He still seems to be hiding behind that persona.I don't question the validity of his experience.I can only assume that Deion wrote this book as a baby Christian (1998).I'd be interested in hearing him tell his story now, with ten years of walking with Christ under his belt.

In summary, its a good book, but lacked in substance.His intentions were good, but he needed a little help on the delivery.

Packs a punch, but poorly written
I was wandering around a Gold Beach, Oregon book store last week and just happened to pick up Deion Sanders' book.I vaguely knew who he was.For some strange reason, I purchased it.Although, riddled with grammatical and spelling errors, I found his message very compelling.I am just new to the world of Jesus and have had many folks in my life talk to me about living a Christian life, but I have to say that Deion's book really TALKED to me about this issue.More than anyone else.He just broke it down in plain terms and related his story in a way that spoke to me loud and clear. Thanks Deion.

A GOOD READ BUT WANTED MORE
I FOUND THIS BOOK TO BE QUITE INTERESTING AND WRITTEN WITH HONESTY. DEION HAS ALWAYS BEEN FLASHY AND FLAMBOYANT. HE PRESENTED HIMSELF AS BEING THIS WAY ALL THE TIME. HIS "PRIME TIME" PERSONALITY IS NOT WHAT I CONSIDER TO BE A MODEL CITIZEN ON HOW TO PRESENT YOURSELF. HE SAYS UNDERNEATH HE IS A CHRISTIAN AND HUMBLE, I HOPE HE IS. I HAD HOPED HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN MORE DETAIL TO HIS CAREER. THIS IS WORTH READING AND ENJOYABLE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DEION AND PLEASE WRITE ANOTHER BOOK WITH MORE DETAIL AND INSIGHT INTO HOW TO LIVE LIFE. ... Read more

I think that the book about Deion Sanders was a very good book.It explained in every little detail how he has lived his life from birth, until now.I couldn't believe one single person could do that many things in a single lifetime.During his life, he did so many things to help out people and his community.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Deion Sanders or someone who likes the Dallas Cowboys, (which is the professional football team he is on) or just plain likes sports. ...
