Tim Dwight Bio Page As dwight graduated, the question on everyone's mind was, where would he play collegefootball? tim could have gone to just about any college in the country http://weather.ou.edu/~jlee/dwightbio.html
Extractions: Like I said earlier, this is actually more of a career summary than a biography. For those of you who may have found this page, but have no idea who Tim Dwight is, he is currently a wide receiver/kick returner for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL. He has been playing football since at least the seventh grade, but started to become prominent during his Junior year at City High School in Iowa City, Iowa. As a running back, he shattered state records his Senior year, and led a great Little Hawk team to its first state championship ever. As Dwight graduated, the question on everyone's mind was, where would he play college football? Tim could have gone to just about any college in the country, they were falling all over themselves to recruit him. However, he decided to attend the University of Iowa in his hometown, and play for the Hawkeyes. Tim loves the state of Iowa and the Hawkeye fans, and I think that played a big part in his decision. Regardless, he started as a halfback at Iowa, but his small size (5'8") limited his success. During his first two years, Dwight tried a lot of different positions, and was good at all of them, but he couldn't really seem to find his niche. However, he ran back kickoffs and punts, and quickly became a very good kick returner. At the beginning of his Junior year, Tim began to play extensively at the wide receiver position. I must admit that I was skeptical at first, I mean, a 5'8" wide receiver usually has a hard time getting the job done. However, Tim isn't your average athlete, this guy has as big a heart as I've ever seen. His determination, speed, and hard work soon made him a force to reckon with, and many a Big Ten defender had to learn the hard way. Dwight not only became an excellent receiver that year, but his kick return skills also improved rapidly. He led the nation in yards per return, and also scored on punt returns against Penn State and Ohio state. Tim rapidly became the MVP of the Hawkeyes, you could always count on him to make the big clutch play.
